#Seahawks DL Michael Bennett has agreed to a 3-year extension, source said. He’ll sign it soon.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) December 30, 2016
Michael Bennett has made his wish for a contract extension clear for a while now. Back in 2015, safety Kam Chancellor notoriously held out training camp and multiple games. People suspected Michael Bennett might do the same, as they both wished for a contract extension. Michael Bennett, however, never did, and it worked out well as he had two sacks in the three games missed by Chancellor. Will Kam Chancellor be the next talented Seahawks defender to receive an extension? We'll have to wait and see.
